Titanium Laser, Potenza & Re2O in One Visit β€” A Real Patient Review

Dr. Han Jin Yi explains Victoria's three-step skin reset in her own words β€” why we layered the Soprano Titanium laser, Potenza microneedling and the Re2O collagen booster, what the first week looked like, and what we left out.

Hello, I'm Dr. Han Jin Yi, a board-certified plastic surgeon at Gangnam HERA whose focus is skin boosters and skin regeneration. Victoria (@victoriaryoo) called her visit a "K-beauty skin reset," and I think that phrase is accurate. She did not come in for one dramatic change. She came in for skin that looked firmer, more refined at the pores and brighter overall, and her plan was built in three steps in a single visit: the Soprano Titanium laser, Potenza microneedling, and the Re2O collagen skin booster. Her own video shows every stage, so I would like to walk you through what each step does and why it sat where it did in the sequence.

What did we look at during the consultation?

We looked at three separate layers of the same concern: surface tone, pore and texture quality, and the density of the dermis underneath. Victoria's video opens with her consultation, where we sketched the plan on a face chart before anything touched her skin. That step matters more than people expect. Skin that "looks tired" can mean dullness on the surface, rough texture in the middle layer, or thinning support underneath, and each of those responds to a different tool. Rather than choosing one device and hoping it covered everything, we matched one treatment to each layer and stacked them so they would support each other.

Why combine three treatments instead of one?

Because each one works at a different depth and by a different mechanism, so together they cover gaps that any single one would leave. The Soprano Titanium laser fires three wavelengths at once β€” 1064nm, 810nm and 755nm β€” to warm the epidermis and dermis and improve tone and elasticity together, with continuous contact cooling on the surface. Potenza is radiofrequency microneedling: ultra-fine needles open micro-channels while RF energy is delivered into the dermis, forming small coagulation zones that trigger new collagen and help refine pores and rough texture. Re2O is different again. It is a collagen skin booster made from micronized human-derived acellular dermal matrix, injected into the dermis to supplement the structural proteins skin loses with age, rather than relying on hyaluronic acid alone. Energy first, then the booster: the devices prepare and stimulate the tissue, and the injectable adds structural material directly where we want it.

What did each step of the visit look like?

Each step was short, and the sequence ran from surface warmth to deeper work. After cleansing, numbing cream was applied β€” her video shows it clearly, along with the plastic wrap we use to help it absorb. Step one was the Titanium laser, which most patients describe as gentle warmth because the handpiece cools the skin as it moves. Step two was Potenza, where the numbing does most of its work; patients usually feel pressure and light pricking rather than sharp pain. Step three was the Re2O injections, placed in small amounts across the treatment area with a fine needle. You can see a little pinpoint bleeding in her clips, which is normal for dermal injections. We finished with a soothing mask, calming care and skincare before she left.

How did the first week go?

About a week later, in Victoria's own words on screen, "the bruising had almost completely faded." That matches what I would expect from this combination. Small bruises at injection points, brief redness and slight swelling after RF microneedling, and the occasional small bump from the booster are the common, temporary effects; Titanium itself has virtually no downtime. Her summary was that her skin "felt firmer," her "pores looked smaller," and her "overall complexion looked brighter." I am glad she felt that, and I always add the honest caveat. Results vary from person to person. This is one patient's experience rather than a promise.

When is it fair to judge the result?

Judge the surface early and the structure later. Tone and hydration can look better within days, once any redness and bruising settle. The collagen-related changes from Potenza and Re2O build gradually over the following weeks as the dermis regenerates, so I ask patients not to make a final call on firmness or pores in the first few days. A single session can show a visible change, but for concerns like pores and texture a short series is often recommended, and that plan is decided at follow-up, not assumed in advance.

What did we deliberately not do in this case?

We did not add volume fillers or deep lifting, because Victoria's goal was skin quality, not contour. Her face did not need structural volume, and putting filler into a skin-quality plan only blurs what each treatment is doing. We also kept to one booster rather than mixing several injectables in one visit; Re2O was chosen for dermal density and firmness. For someone whose main concern is gradual collagen building for fine lines and pores, a PDLLA booster such as Juvelook is a reasonable alternative to discuss, and if surface texture alone is the issue, Potenza with exosomes may be enough by itself. The right combination depends on which layer is actually the problem.

Is This for You?

Who this treatment is genuinely for

Signs it may be time to consider it

  • Your skin looks dull even with a good skincare routine
  • Pores look larger and texture feels rough when you touch your cheeks
  • Your skin feels thinner or less springy than it used to
  • Makeup sits on the surface instead of looking smooth
  • You want improvement in skin quality without changing your features

It's a good fit if

  • You want firmer-feeling skin, more refined pores and a brighter tone rather than a change in facial shape
  • Your concern spans more than one layer β€” dull surface, rough texture and thinning support underneath
  • You have limited time in Seoul and prefer a planned multi-step session in one visit
  • You are comfortable with a few days of possible small bruises at injection points

Not the right first step if: This combination isn't the right first step if you are pregnant, have an active skin infection or a history of hypersensitivity to injectable materials, or have an important event within the next week β€” we always begin with an in-person consultation.

Good to Know

Questions patients actually ask

Is it painful to have Titanium, Potenza and Re2O in one visit?
It is manageable for most patients because numbing cream is applied first. Titanium feels like gentle warmth thanks to contact cooling, Potenza feels like pressure and light pricking, and the Re2O injections feel like small, quick pinches.
Why is the laser done before the booster injection?
The energy devices go first because they warm and stimulate the tissue across the treatment area, and the booster is then placed into the dermis to add structural collagen directly. Finishing with the injectable keeps the sequence clean and avoids disturbing freshly placed product.
How long will bruising or redness last?
Usually a few days. Redness and slight swelling after Potenza typically settle within a day or two, and small injection-point bruises fade over several days; in Victoria's case, the bruising had almost completely faded after about a week.
What is Re2O and how is it different from a hyaluronic acid booster?
Re2O is a collagen skin booster made from micronized human-derived acellular dermal matrix. Instead of relying on hyaluronic acid alone, it supplements the skin's own structural proteins to support dermal regeneration.
When will I see the final result?
Tone can look better within days, while firmness, texture and pores improve gradually over the following weeks as collagen rebuilds. Every patient responds differently, so we review progress at follow-up before planning any further sessions.
