01 · What it is
A thread that lifts, then keeps working under the skin
Aptos threads are barbed threads placed under the skin along planned lines. The barbs hold tissue in its lifted position straight away. The thread itself is made of P(LA/CL), a copolymer of PLLA and PCL that is absorbed slowly, and the NAMICA threads also carry hyaluronic acid (HA). As the thread absorbs, the surrounding skin builds new collagen, so the result is not only a pull.

What patients ask before choosing Aptos
Straight answers, based on manufacturer information and how HERA plans thread lifts.
Is an Aptos thread lift more painful than other thread lifts?
Not by design. Like other thread lifts it is done under local anesthesia, and you may feel pressure or tightness at the entry points. How it feels depends mostly on the area and the number of threads.
What does the hyaluronic acid actually do?
In NAMICA threads, HA sits in particles of three sizes. Per the manufacturer, micro particles release HA both quickly and over time, sub-micro particles release it gradually over 1–3 months, and nano particles release it over 3–6 months.
I've had PDO threads before. Should I switch?
Tell your doctor how long your last result held and which areas were treated. The thread type and number are chosen after examining your face, and sometimes a different treatment is the better answer.
Is a thread lift the same as a facelift?
No. A thread lift repositions tissue through fine entry points without incisions. It suits early to moderate sagging; heavy skin excess usually needs surgery, and your doctor will say so plainly.
