Jawline Filler Price in Korea: What Sets the Cost, Line by Line

I'm Dr. Jong Seon Kim, a plastic surgeon at Gangnam HERA in Seoul and a board member of the International Petit Medical Society, and most of my clinical day is spent on fillers and injectables. The jawline question usually arrives as a screenshot of a price list from somewhere and one line: "What does jawline filler cost in Korea — and why won't anyone just tell me?" I will not put a number here either, and I want to be straightforward about why. A jawline is a line, not a point. How much of it needs treating, how much filler that takes and which product suits you change the total far more than on a small area, and I can only judge those by looking at your face. What I can give you is a clear picture of what moves the cost, and an itemised written estimate after consultation, before anything begins. International and local patients pay exactly the same.
Why won't I quote a jawline filler price online?
Because a single number cannot describe a treatment whose amount changes so much from one face to the next. One patient needs a short segment near the jaw angle defined; another needs the whole line from the angle to the chin. Both are called "jawline filler". A published figure would be accurate for one of them and misleading for the other.
What works better is a photo consultation. From a front photograph and one at a three-quarter angle, I can usually tell you how much of the line is involved, whether the chin is part of the plan, and whether filler is the right tool at all. The written estimate then shows each item separately.
What changes the cost of jawline filler?
Four things: how much of the jawline is treated, how much filler it needs, whether the product is domestic or imported, and what else is treated in the same plan.
1. How much of the line
Defining one segment is a different job from building a continuous line from the jaw angle to the chin. The longer the line, the more product and time it takes.
2. How much filler
Even along the same length, a jaw that has lost more volume needs more support. I plan conservatively and review, because a jawline built too heavily looks older, not sharper — and taking filler away means dissolving it.
3. Domestic or imported product
At HERA we use hyaluronic-acid fillers. The main practical difference between domestic and imported products is how long they tend to last: around 6 to 12 months for domestic and 12 to 18 months for imported, depending on the area and your metabolism. Imported products usually cost more per session and may need topping up less often. I show you both on the estimate and the choice is yours.
4. What it is combined with
The jawline is often planned with the chin, or as part of our C-line lifting filler, which links the forehead, cheeks and jawline into one curve. Each added area adds product. The estimate lists every area separately, so you can see what each one contributes.
Is filler even the right spend for your jaw?
Only if the jawline looks soft because volume is missing — otherwise you would be paying for the wrong treatment. This is the part of the conversation that saves patients the most money:
- A wide, square lower face is usually the masseter muscle. Filler would make it wider; botox is the tool, explained in botox for the jawline.

- Heavy jowls or loose skin are laxity. Filler adds weight to sagging tissue; lifting, such as a PDO thread lift for the jawline, addresses it instead.

How does the choice of product change what you spend over a year?
A filler that lasts longer is repeated less often, so compare the cost per year of result, not the cost of one visit. If you come to Seoul once a year, a product that tends to last longer may fit your travel better. If you live nearby or visit often, a domestic product with more frequent top-ups can make sense. Results vary from person to person. At consultation I give you a realistic range rather than a date.
What should an itemised jawline estimate show?
The product and whether it is domestic or imported, the amount, each area treated, who injects, and how a review or adjustment is handled. If you are comparing quotes, these are the lines to compare:
- Product: name, and domestic or imported
- Amount: how much filler is planned for the jawline
- Areas: jawline only, or with chin or other areas, listed separately
- Injector: whether a physician performs the injection
- Follow-up: whether a review is planned
A lower quote for less product or a shorter segment is a different treatment, not a better deal. At HERA the estimate is the same document for international and local patients, and an English interpreter goes through it with you before you agree to anything.

"Is it cheaper to do chin and jaw together?"
It means one consultation and one design, and the two areas usually look better planned together. Whether the total suits you depends on the amount each area needs, which is why the estimate shows them separately.
"Can I start with less?"
Yes, and I often recommend it. A conservative first session, reviewed once swelling has settled after two to three days, tells us both how your jaw responds before anything more is added.

The honest limits
Jawline filler is temporary, so its real cost includes maintenance. It defines the jaw you have and wears off over months. It does not change bone, slim a wide jaw, remove fat or lift jowls, and paying for it when one of those is the real issue is money spent on the wrong problem. What I can promise is an estimate you can read line by line, a plan aimed at the right cause, and a conservative first session.
