저는 강남 헤라클리닉 성형외과 전문의 김종선입니다. 이마 보톡스는 가장 단순해 보이는 주사 시술이고, 바로 그래서 잘못되는 경우가 많습니다. 이마에서 눈썹을 들어 올리는 근육은 하나뿐이고, 그 역할을 생각하지 않고 이완시키면 쉬어 보이는 대신 피곤해 보이게 됩니다.

이마 보톡스는 무엇을 다루나요?

눈썹을 올릴 때 생기는 가로 주름입니다. 보톡스가 전두근을 이완시켜 그 주름을 완화합니다. 헤라에서는 같은 방문에 미간 주름과 눈가 주름을 함께 다루는 경우가 많습니다. 이 근육들이 함께 움직이기 때문에, 하나만 다루면 대비로 다른 쪽이 더 도드라져 보일 수 있습니다.

맞는 분과 맞지 않는 분

  • 눈썹을 올릴 때 깊어지는 이마 가로 주름
  • 무표정일 때 인상 써 보이게 하는 미간 주름
  • 주름이 더 깊어지는 것을 늦추고 싶은 경우

피부가 내려와 생긴 무거움이나 눈꺼풀 처짐에는 맞지 않습니다. 그건 탄력의 문제이고, 눈썹을 올려 주는 근육을 이완시키면 오히려 나빠집니다. 그렇게 보이면 그렇게 말씀드리고 리프팅 쪽으로 안내합니다.

눈썹 위치라는 문제

어떤 분은 눈썹을 올려 두기 위해 전두근에 크게 의존합니다. 본인도 모르는 경우가 많습니다. 그런 이마를 강한 이마처럼 다루면 이후 눈썹이 내려앉습니다. 무엇을 정하기 전에 얼굴이 움직이는 것을 먼저 보는 이유이고, 첫 방문에 적게 넣고 다시 보는 편을 택하는 이유입니다.

진료실에서 하는 일

먼저 진단하고, 주사는 5~10분입니다. 일하는 근육과 지키고 싶은 눈썹 위치를 따라 약제를 놓습니다. 헤라에서 보톡스는 전문의가 직접 주사하며, 개봉·시리얼·기록 관리를 포함한 정품 프로토콜을 따르므로 무엇이 쓰였는지 확인하실 수 있습니다.

"이마만 해도 되나요?"

대개는 아닙니다. 이마·미간·눈가는 한 세트로 움직여서, 이마만 다루면 미간이 더 강해 보일 수 있습니다. 병행이 나은 경우와 아닌 경우를 말씀드립니다.

"짧은 일정에도 되나요?"

됩니다. 시술이 짧고 다운타임이 적습니다. 다만 결과는 즉시가 아니라 이후 1~2주에 걸쳐 자리를 잡습니다.

첫 회차를 기대보다 적게 잡는 이유

재진에서 더할 수는 있습니다. 뺄 수는 없습니다. 눈썹을 받쳐 주는 근육에서 이 비대칭이 접근 전체를 결정합니다. 보수적인 첫 용량과 2주 확인은 방문 한 번을 더 쓰는 일이지만, 과하게 들어간 이마는 석 달을 무겁게 보내는 일입니다.

진찰 전에 고정된 유닛 수를 제시하는 것을 경계하는 이유이기도 합니다. 숫자는 가격표가 아니라 제가 움직이는 것을 본 근육을 따라야 합니다.

첫 시술과 두 번째 시술이 달라지는 점

처음 다루는 이마는 수년간 쉬지 않고 일해 온 근육입니다. 두세 번째 회차가 되면 더 적은 양으로 더 긴 간격을 쓰시는 분이 많습니다. 근육이 몇 달간 과도하게 수축하지 않았기 때문입니다. 한 번의 비용으로 판단하시면 이 부분이 계산에 들어가지 않습니다.

다른 곳에서 맞으셨다면

아시는 것을 가져와 주십시오 — 제품, 유닛, 날짜. 마지막 용량이 언제 들어갔는지가 오늘 안전하게 할 수 있는 범위를 바꿉니다. 아는 기준선 위에 쌓는 것과 추측하는 것의 차이입니다.

솔직한 한계

움직임 주름을 완화할 뿐, 꺼진 볼륨을 채우거나 새겨진 주름을 재생하거나 피부를 끌어올리지 못합니다. 영구적이지 않고 유지하는 시술입니다. 임신·수유 중이거나 신경근 질환이 있으면 적합하지 않으니 계획 전에 병력과 복용 약을 말씀해 주십시오.
