사각턱 보톡스 전후 — 현실적인 변화 시점

사각턱 보톡스는 언제부터 달라지나요?

근육은 3~7일에 이완되기 시작하지만, 눈에 보이는 갸름함은 몇 주가 걸립니다. 이 간격이 혼란을 만듭니다. 보톡스는 근육 수축을 빠르게 멈추지만, 부피 자체는 쓰이지 않는 근육이 서서히 줄면서 빠집니다. 주사 일주일 뒤 사진에는 거의 아무것도 없는 경우가 많고, 그건 실패가 아니라 정상입니다.

이마나 미간 보톡스와 반대입니다. 그쪽은 첫 주에 변화가 보입니다. 턱은 주름이 아니라 부피의 변화이기 때문입니다.

믿을 수 있는 전후사진의 조건

  • "after"가 아니라 주 단위로 표기된 간격
  • 같은 각도 — 3/4 측면은 정면보다 턱선을 더 갸름하게 보이게 합니다
  • 이완된 턱, 어금니를 벌린 상태. 악무는 것만으로 윤곽이 시술보다 크게 달라집니다

맞는 분과 맞지 않는 분

교근이 발달해 턱이 넓어 보이는 경우에 맞습니다. 이를 악무는 습관이나 이갈이에서 오는 경우가 많습니다. 어금니를 물고 턱 각에서 불룩해지는 근육을 만져 보십시오. 그 불룩함이 고민이라면 이 시술이 다루는 부분입니다.

뼈를 깎지는 못합니다. 하악골 자체에서 오는 넓이라면 보톡스로 달라지지 않으며, 도달할 수 없는 회차를 파는 대신 그렇게 말씀드립니다. 턱선의 처짐도 다루지 못합니다. 그건 탄력의 문제이고 리프팅의 영역입니다.

진료실에서 하는 일

주사는 5~10분입니다. 악물어 달라고 요청해 근육 경계를 확인한 뒤 그 안쪽에 넣습니다. 용량은 고정 메뉴가 아니라 손에 잡히는 근육을 따라갑니다. 헤라에서 보톡스는 전문의가 직접 주사하며 개봉·시리얼·기록 관리 프로토콜을 따릅니다.

다운타임은 최소입니다. 바늘 자국이나 가벼운 발적이 잠시 보일 수 있고, 시술 후 문지르지 않으셔야 합니다.

보수적인 용량에서는 그렇지 않습니다. 아래 얼굴을 꺼지게 만드는 건 과다 시술이고, 제가 적극적으로 피하는 오류입니다. 씹는 데 쓰는 근육을 과하게 잡느니 적게 넣고 다시 보는 편을 택합니다.

"씹는 힘이 약해지나요?"

초기 몇 주간 단단한 음식에서 가벼운 피로감을 느끼는 분이 있습니다. 용량이 빠지면서 정리됩니다.

"얼마나 자주 해야 하나요?"

효과는 대개 3~4개월 지속되며 개인차가 있습니다. 갸름한 라인을 유지하는 건 반복 시술이고, 근육이 한동안 이완되어 있으면 간격이 길어지는 경우가 많습니다.

사진과 거울이 다르게 말하는 이유

거울로는 그대로인데 주변에서 갸름해졌다고 한다는 말씀을 자주 듣습니다. 착각이 아닙니다. 매일 보는 얼굴에는 점진적 변화에 적응하지만, 두 달 만에 본 사람은 그렇지 않습니다. 첫 시술 전에 고정된 각도로 사진을 찍어 두시라고 권하는 이유이기도 합니다. 몇 주에 걸쳐 오는 변화에 기억은 좋은 기준점이 못 됩니다.

낮빛에서 정면과 3/4 측면으로, 어금니를 벌리고 턱에 힘을 뺀 상태로 찍으십시오. 4주와 8주에 같은 조건으로 반복하십시오. 그 세 장이 어떤 병원의 갤러리보다 많은 것을 말해 줍니다.

두 번째 회차가 달라지는 이유

첫 회차는 수년간 열심히 일해 온 근육을 이완시킵니다. 두 번째 회차를 근육이 완전히 회복되기 전에 넣으면 대개 첫 회차보다 깔끔한 라인이 나옵니다. 한 번으로 판단하신 분들이 스스로 이 시술을 과소평가하게 되는 이유입니다.

솔직한 한계

유지하는 시술이지 영구적이지 않습니다. 근육의 크기와 힘이 사람마다 달라 결과도 다릅니다. 같은 유닛을 두 얼굴에 써도 같은 사진이 나오지 않습니다. 그리고 이갈이가 원인이라면 습관을 그대로 둔 채 근육만 다루면 더 빨리 돌아옵니다.
