How much does Rejuran cost in Korea when your skin needs a course of sessions and you only have one trip?
Read this before you book the flight or start lining up quotes.
You'll learn which Rejuran type fits your concern, what results look like over a course, what reviews get right and wrong, and what actually sets your estimate. With that, you can plan sessions that fit your skin and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Kim Jong Seon, Director, Gangnam HERA Plastic Surgery Clinic.
At HERA, international patients pay the same price as local patients, and you receive a written estimate before any treatment. An English interpreter joins the consultation, and the specialist who consults with you is the one who performs your treatment.
I'm writing this because people often compare Rejuran by the price of a single syringe, when the type, the area and the number of sessions shape the total far more.
Rejuran doesn't have one fixed figure. Your cost is set by which type your skin needs, how much area is treated, how many sessions your course has, and how many of them fit into your days in Seoul.
If you'd like a figure for your own face, send one daylight photo of the area on WhatsApp and ask which Rejuran type and how many sessions you'd be quoted for.

Is Rejuran the right skin booster for you?
Rejuran is a polynucleotide (PN) injectable made from purified salmon DNA. It's placed into the skin in many small, evenly spaced amounts to support the skin's own repair. A systematic review of polynucleotides in esthetic medicine found studies reporting improvements in texture, hydration and fine lines, while noting that study designs vary in quality. Rejuran doesn't add volume the way filler does, and it doesn't lift sagging tissue.
So it matches some concerns and not others:
- Often a fit: thin, crepey skin under the eyes, fine lines, dull or dehydrated skin, and shallow texture such as mild acne-scar roughness.
- Usually not the main answer: deep under-eye hollows, cheeks that have lost volume, or a jawline that has dropped.
For lost volume, the conversation moves to filler or a collagen stimulator such as Juvelook. Filler adds volume right away but carries a rare risk of injection into a blood vessel, which the US FDA lists among filler complications. Juvelook builds collagen gradually and can occasionally leave small lumps. If you've been told at home that your skin is too thin for filler, a PN course is often where the discussion goes, and the question becomes how many sessions you need.
There's more on the ingredient itself in our polynucleotide skin booster guide, and deeper scarring is covered in the acne scar treatment guide.
Rejuran methods: Healer, HB, I and S
Rejuran comes in several versions, and the names in search results blur together. The table shows what each one is generally used for and whether it's on HERA's treatment list.
| Type | Generally used for | On HERA's list? |
|---|---|---|
| Rejuran (Rejuran Healer) | Overall skin quality: texture, hydration, fine lines | Yes |
| Rejuran HB | Similar uses, formulated with lidocaine for comfort | Yes |
| Rejuran I | The thinner skin around the eyes | Yes |
| Rejuran S | Depressed scars, such as acne scars | Not listed |
| Rejuran HB Plus | A newer HB version | Not listed |
Rejuran HB Plus is a newer version the maker has been launching in markets such as New Zealand. It isn't on our treatment list, so if you've read about it, ask at booking rather than assume.
The serums and creams sold under the Rejuran name are skincare products, not the injection. Polynucleotides are large molecules, and as a long-standing rule of skin science, compounds above roughly 500 daltons pass poorly through intact skin. A serum can feel pleasant and hydrating, but it doesn't place PN where the injection does, and it plays no part in a clinic estimate.
What decides how much Rejuran costs in Korea?
The per-syringe figures you find when you search "how much does Rejuran cost in Korea" are hard to compare, because five things move your total:
- The type. Rejuran, Rejuran HB and Rejuran I are separate items, and an eye-area treatment is often a separate line from the rest of the face.
- The area and amount. Under-eyes alone, the full face, or face plus neck each use a different amount of product.
- The number of sessions. PN is commonly given as a series of sessions a few weeks apart. Ask whether a figure you're shown is for one session or a whole course.
- Your days in Seoul. With about a week here, you'll usually fit one session into this trip. What you pay now covers what happens now; later sessions belong to a later visit.
- Anything added. A second treatment, such as filler for a hollow or Potenza Exosome for pores, is its own line. Ask for each to be listed separately.
Because the estimate is written before treatment, you can see each of these lines before anything is injected. Our Rejuran price guide covers what an estimate includes, item by item.
Say you have crepey skin under both eyes and rough acne-scar texture on your cheeks, and you're in Seoul for six days. I'd ask whether the eye area calls for Rejuran I and the cheeks for a different type. Then I'd plan the one session that fits this trip and say plainly how many more the texture is likely to need. If the cheek texture turns out to be scarring deeper than PN usually reaches, more vials aren't the answer, and I'd say so.
To get a figure built around your trip, message your travel dates on WhatsApp and ask how many Rejuran sessions would fit between your arrival and your flight home.
Genuine vials and one doctor from consult to injection
I use only genuine, approved products, and the sealed vial is opened in front of you, so you can read the product name yourself before treatment starts. The specialist who consults with you performs the treatment; it isn't handed off. We don't rush through high volumes.
Dr. Han Jin Yi, who focuses on skin boosters here, plans from a scan of more than 40 skin indicators, so the same numbers can be compared at your next visit. HERA is registered with Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare as a Foreign Patient Attraction Medical Institution.
What results can you expect, and after how many sessions?
Changes after PN are gradual. Many people notice smoother texture and better hydration in the weeks after a session, and the effect tends to build over a course rather than appear overnight. Around the eyes, Rejuran I is aimed at crepey texture and fine lines. It won't fill a tear trough.
Results aren't permanent, because skin keeps aging, so a maintenance session some months later is a common topic. Deep wrinkles, hollows and sagging usually change little with PN alone, which is why the type and plan should match the concern you actually have.
What do Rejuran reviews get right and wrong?
Review threads repeat a few claims. Here is how they hold up medically:
- "You'll have bumps for a day or two." Mostly true. Small raised bumps at the injection points are a common, temporary effect and usually flatten within a day to a few days.
- "One session gave me glass skin." Misleading. Skin can look plumper right after treatment from the injected fluid and mild swelling, but the slower changes build over weeks and sessions.
- "It stings more than other boosters." Many people do find it uncomfortable. Numbing cream is commonly used, and Rejuran HB is formulated with lidocaine.
- "Salmon DNA means an allergy risk." Worth taking seriously. Tell the doctor about any fish or salmon allergy before treatment.
Recovery: same day, day 3, day 7 and your flight
Same day. Expect bumps, redness and possibly pinpoint bruises. Many people skip makeup on the treated area until the next day and avoid saunas, hard workouts and alcohol for a day or two.
Day 3. Bumps have usually settled. A small bruise may linger and can generally be covered with makeup.
Day 7. For most people, bruising has faded or is close to it.
Before you fly
Avoid booking Rejuran on the day before your flight. Leaving two or three days gives bumps time to settle and lets you ask about anything that looks wrong while you're still in Seoul.
Risks and side effects to know
Common temporary effects are bumps, redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising, usually lasting a few days. Less common are lumps that last longer, infection and allergic reactions. Individual results vary.
It's generally wise to wait or skip treatment if you have an active infection, acne flare or cold sore in the area; a recent laser treatment or peel; current isotretinoin use; pregnancy or breastfeeding; an allergy to salmon- or fish-derived ingredients; or a bleeding disorder or blood-thinning medication. Raise any of these at your consultation.
If pain increases, redness spreads, the area turns warm or you develop a fever after flying home, see a local doctor promptly and bring the record of what was injected. The CDC's medical tourism guidance advises keeping copies of your records and planning follow-up care at home before you travel.
Visiting HERA in Gangnam

HERA is at 4F, 9 Seocho-daero 73-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, about three minutes from Gangnam Station. Hours are Monday and Friday 10:00β20:00, Tuesday to Thursday 10:00β19:00 and Saturday 10:00β17:00, with lunch from 13:00 to 14:00. We're closed on Sundays and public holidays, so if your trip ends on a Sunday, plan your session earlier in the week. Our full list of skin boosters is on the treatments page.
Your first message can be short: one daylight photo of the area that bothers you on WhatsApp, plus the one question you most want answered, such as whether Rejuran or a different booster suits it. You can ask before booking anything. When you come in, the doctor examines your skin and recommends the type and number of sessions that fit it.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Q1Is Rejuran Healer the same as Rejuran?
Yes. Rejuran Healer is the name often used for the original Rejuran. Rejuran HB and Rejuran I are separate versions; all three are on HERA's treatment list.Q2Can I complete a full Rejuran course in one trip?
Usually not. PN is commonly given as a series of sessions a few weeks apart, so a one-week trip typically fits one session. The remaining sessions would belong to a later visit.Q3Do international patients pay more for Rejuran at HERA?
No. International patients pay the same price as local patients, and you receive a written estimate before any treatment.Q4Is Rejuran HB Plus or Rejuran S available at HERA?
Neither is on our treatment list, which includes Rejuran, Rejuran HB and Rejuran I. If you've read about another version, ask at booking.Q5Can a Rejuran serum replace the injection?
No. Polynucleotides are large molecules that pass poorly through intact skin, so a serum can hydrate the surface but doesn't deliver PN into the skin the way an injection does.
