Neck Fillers Cost in Korea: Priced by Your Lines, Not by the Neck

I'm Dr. Kim Jong Seon, the filler specialist at Gangnam HERA in Seoul and a board member of the Korean Society of Aesthetic Surgery (KSAS). Neck filler questions tend to come from people who have looked after their face for years and have started to notice the lines across their neck in video calls. The cost question is usually phrased like this: "How much do neck fillers cost in Korea β and will I have to keep paying for more sessions?" My answer first: neck filler is estimated by your lines, not by "the neck". How many creases there are, how long and deep they run, whether they are horizontal or vertical, and whether loose skin rather than a crease is the real issue decide the plan. Deep, long-standing lines sometimes need a second session, and some necks are better served by a skin booster or lifting than by filler at all. You receive an itemised written estimate after consultation, and international and local patients pay exactly the same.
Why is neck filler priced by your lines, not by "the neck"?
Because neck filler treats each crease directly, so the work β and the product β scales with the creases you actually have. Neck line filler places hyaluronic acid just beneath each fold so it looks shallower and the neckline cleaner. One person has a single faint line across the front of the neck; another has three deep horizontal lines that run almost from side to side. Calling both "neck filler" and giving them one price would be inaccurate for at least one of them.
It is also why a neck estimate looks different from a face estimate. On the face I think in zones; on the neck I think in lines. Our neck filler guide explains what the treatment can and cannot change, and this guide covers what that means for the cost.

How do the number and depth of creases change the amount?
More lines, longer lines and deeper lines need more product and more careful placement; early-to-moderate lines need less and respond most clearly. At consultation I map each crease and note three things:
- Number: how many lines are visible with your head level, not just when you look down.
- Length: whether a line stays at the front of the neck or runs towards the sides.
- Depth: whether it is a faint mark, an early-to-moderate crease, or a deep, long-standing fold.
The neck is thin-skinned and moves constantly, so the goal is evenness rather than volume. Small, even amounts placed along each line look better than a larger amount in a few spots, which can leave the neck looking lumpy. That means I am not trying to use as much product as a line will take; I am trying to use as little as smooths it.
Horizontal lines or vertical bands β does it matter for cost?
It matters for the plan, and the plan sets the cost: horizontal lines are what neck filler treats most directly, while vertical bands are softened with subtle volume and are often better combined with other treatments. Most of what I treat are the horizontal lines across the front of the neck β the ones people notice in photos taken from slightly below. Vertical lines can also be smoothed with filler, but when vertical bands are prominent the cause is often laxity in the neck as a whole, and a crease-by-crease plan alone may not be where your budget does the most good.
If the jaw-to-neck line has softened, or the skin has become loose, the honest answer is that filler will not lift it. I would rather tell you that at consultation and move the plan to a tool that can.
When does neck filler take more than one session?
When the creases are deep and long-standing, a second session is often planned from the start rather than added as a surprise. Early-to-moderate lines often soften clearly in one session. Very deep creases improve but may not disappear entirely, and taking them further usually means a second, measured session after the first has settled, or adding a skin booster.
Planning that up front keeps the budget honest. The first session is written as its own line; a second session, if it is likely, is discussed before you begin so it is not a surprise later. If the review shows the first session was enough, it simply does not happen. Mild swelling, redness or small bruises along the injection lines usually settle within two to three days, and a high collar or a light scarf covers them easily.

Should a skin booster or lifting be on the same estimate?
Often one of them belongs there, because many necks have both a crease and a skin-quality or laxity problem β and each is its own line, so you choose what to include.
- Thin or crepey skin: neck filler can be paired with skin boosters to improve texture and hydration across the neck. Juvelook can be applied to the neck, and the Juvelook cost guide explains how that is priced.
- Stubborn wrinkles: DCLASSY (CaHA) is used for neck wrinkles that are difficult to improve, building collagen over the following months.
- Lax skin: Preheat Thermage firms lax neck skin and softens horizontal lines from the surface; the Ultherapy neck before-and-after guide shows what tightening realistically changes.
- Sagging: threads raise sagging neck skin β see the neck thread lift guide.
When two of these are combined, I plan the order so neither is wasted, and both appear on one written estimate.
What does a neck filler estimate at HERA include?
Every step needed to treat your lines evenly, written down before anything begins. A typical neck plan covers consultation and neck analysis (the depth and pattern of your lines and the skin around them); design and marking of each crease; topical numbing cream, with local anaesthesia if needed; injection of hyaluronic acid just beneath each line; a smoothing check to confirm the neckline looks even; and aftercare guidance. The session takes within about 30 minutes, and most people describe mild pressure rather than pain.
The product is listed separately. At HERA, domestic hyaluronic-acid fillers generally last around 6 to 12 months and imported ones around 12 to 18 months, depending on the product and your metabolism. As with any filler, pain that keeps getting worse or skin that turns pale, dusky or mottled needs a doctor the same day β uncommon, but the reason a physician performs every injection.
What else do patients ask about neck filler cost?
They usually ask about combining the neck with the face, whether hands are the same treatment, and where to see results.
"Can I do my neck and face on the same day?"
Usually, yes, and treating them together often looks more consistent. Each area is a separate line; our Korean filler price guide explains how multi-area plans are estimated.
"My hands bother me as much as my neck. Is that the same treatment?"
It is planned differently, because the back of the hand is about volume rather than creases. The hand filler cost guide explains how hands are estimated.
"Where can I see neck results?"
Our before-and-after gallery includes neck line filler cases from HERA patients β real photographs, not illustrations.

What can neck filler not do, whatever you spend?
Neck filler softens lines; it does not tighten loose skin, remove fat under the chin or stop the neck from ageing. It is not permanent, and the deepest creases may always show a trace. Results vary from person to person. What I can offer is an honest reading of which part of your neck is the problem β line, skin quality or laxity β an estimate built line by line, and a second session only when the first one shows it is worth it. The full clinical detail is on our neck line filler page.
Book a consultation
If you would like a neck plan and a written estimate, send me a photograph of your neck from the front with your head level, and one looking slightly down. We will arrange a consultation in Gangnam, or a photo consultation first if you are still abroad. An English interpreter joins every visit, and you receive an itemised written estimate before anything begins β international and local patients pay exactly the same.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Q1How much do neck fillers cost in Korea?
It depends on your lines, so HERA gives an itemised written estimate after consultation rather than one online price. The cost changes with the number, length and depth of your creases, domestic or imported product, and whether a second session or a skin booster is part of the plan.Q2Will I need more than one neck filler session?
Not always. Early-to-moderate lines often soften clearly in one session; very deep, long-standing creases may need a second session or a skin booster, which is discussed before you begin.Q3Can neck filler fix loose or sagging neck skin?
No. Filler softens creases but does not lift lax skin; tightening treatments or thread lifting address that, and they are estimated separately.Q4Do foreigners pay more for neck filler at HERA?
No. International and local patients pay exactly the same, and every item is agreed in writing before treatment begins.Q5How long does neck filler last?
At HERA, domestic hyaluronic-acid fillers generally last around 6β12 months and imported ones 12β18 months, depending on the product and individual metabolism.
