I'm Dr. Jong Hoon Lee, a physician at Gangnam HERA in Seoul. Patients who have watched nose thread lift videos usually write to me with a price question first: "What does a nose thread lift cost in Korea β and is it a cheaper way to get the nose I want without surgery?" My answer, first: I do not publish a price, because the estimate depends on which parts of your nose need support and how much filler that takes. And a nose thread lift is not a cheaper rhinoplasty. It is a different treatment that can add height and definition, but it cannot make a nose smaller.
Why is there no nose thread lift price in this article?
Because the nose you have decides what goes into it, and a printed figure would describe someone else's nose. One patient needs a little height at the bridge and nothing at the tip. Another needs the bridge raised, the junction between forehead and nose softened, and the tip given projection with threads. Those are different amounts of material and different steps, and they cannot honestly share one number.
What I can do is explain exactly what the estimate is made of, so that when you receive it you can see why each line is there. At HERA it is written after a doctor has examined your profile, it is itemised, and it is given to you before anything begins. International and local patients pay the same.
What is included in a nose thread lift at HERA?
KFDA-approved Mint Threads for the tip, combined with hyaluronic-acid filler for the bridge, in one session of about 30 minutes. The filler builds height along the bridge. The threads give the tip a lifted, smoother line that filler alone struggles to create. There are no incisions.

What makes a nose thread lift estimate higher or lower?
Three things above all: which zones are treated, how much filler is needed, and whether the tip needs threads at all.
The zones
At HERA the nose is planned in three zones: the bridge, the tip, and the radix β the junction between the forehead and the nose, where gentle volume creates a natural starting height. Treating one zone is a smaller plan than treating all three.
The amount of filler
A low, flat bridge needs more filler to reach a natural height than a bridge that only needs smoothing over a small irregularity. The amount is set by your profile, not by a package.
Whether threads are needed
If your tip is already defined and you mainly want a higher bridge, filler alone may be enough, and the plan is simpler. If the tip is rounded or undefined, threads are what make the difference, and they appear on the estimate as their own line.
One more factor is time. The filler component typically lasts around 6 to 12 months and the threads are absorbable, so a nose thread lift is a maintained result. When you compare costs, think about the cost of keeping the result, not only the first session.
Threads and filler, or filler alone β which costs less?
Filler alone is usually the simpler plan, but it does a smaller job. Filler can raise and straighten the bridge. It struggles to lift and define the tip, and trying to force a tip with filler alone is one way a non-surgical nose starts to look heavy. Threads and filler together give a higher bridge and a more defined tip in one session.

Is a nose thread lift a cheaper alternative to rhinoplasty?
No β it is a different treatment with different limits, not a lower-cost version of surgery. Threads and filler add support and volume. They do not remove a hump, narrow wide nostrils, reduce a large tip, shorten a long nose or correct a deviated nose. If your goal needs something taken away, a nose thread lift will not reach it at any price, and I would rather tell you that before you fly.
Where it genuinely helps is when the nose needs something added: a low bridge, a flat profile, an undefined tip, a minor irregularity. It also suits people who want to see a new profile before thinking about anything surgical, because the hyaluronic-acid portion can be adjusted or dissolved.
How is it quoted for patients coming from abroad?
A photo consultation first if you like, then an in-person assessment and an itemised written estimate before treatment. Send me a front photo and a side profile in daylight, without filters. From those I can usually tell you whether threads and filler are a sensible option, and whether the tip is likely to need threads.
At the clinic I confirm the plan with you, and the estimate lists threads and filler separately so you can see what each part is for. An English interpreter joins every visit. Downtime is minimal β you can usually resume daily life immediately, and mild redness, swelling or slight tenderness at the tip may last a few days before settling. Avoid pressing on the nose, heavy glasses and intense heat for the first days, and book early in your stay so there is time for a review. Results vary from person to person.

The hyaluronic-acid portion can be dissolved and adjusted, and there are no incisions. That is one reason I plan conservatively rather than building the highest possible bridge.
What are the honest limits?
A nose thread lift adds; it cannot take away, and it does not last forever. It cannot make a nose smaller, narrower or shorter. The filler portion typically lasts around 6 to 12 months, so the result has to be maintained. Very thick skin at the tip or a nose that has had surgery before changes what is possible, and that has to be assessed in person. What I can promise is an honest answer about whether your nose is a good candidate before you spend anything.
