I'm Dr. Jong Seon Kim, a plastic surgeon at Gangnam HERA in Seoul and a board member of the International Petit Medical Society, and most of my clinical day is spent on fillers and injectables. The nose is the area international patients ask me about most, and the first message is usually a side-profile photograph with one direct line: "How much is nose filler in Korea?" Here is my honest answer first. I do not put a number on this page, because a number written before I have seen your nose is a guess β and a guess tends to change on the day. What I can tell you is exactly what makes the cost go up or down, and that you receive an itemised written estimate after consultation, at the same price a local patient pays.
Why won't I quote a nose filler price online?
Because the price follows the plan, and the plan follows your nose. Two people can send me the same request β "a higher nose" β and need quite different treatments. One needs a little volume along a low bridge. The other has a rounded tip that filler alone will not define, and needs threads placed with the filler. The first plan is shorter and simpler than the second, and a single online figure cannot describe both.
A headline number also sets the wrong expectation. If it is lower than your real plan, the visit starts with a disappointment. If it is higher, you may not come in at all, even though your nose needed less. I would rather show you the variables openly and then give you a written figure that belongs to you.
What actually changes the cost of nose filler in Korea?
Four things: which parts of the nose are treated, whether threads are added for the tip, how much product your nose needs, and whether earlier filler has to be dealt with first.
Bridge only, or bridge and tip?
Filler placed along the bridge raises and straightens a low or flat profile. Many noses also need gentle volume at the radix β the junction between the forehead and the nose β so the line starts at a natural height. The tip is different. Filler alone struggles to give it definition, so at HERA we combine KFDA-approved Mint Threads with hyaluronic-acid filler when a sharper, more projected tip is the goal. Adding threads changes the plan and therefore the estimate.
How much filler your nose needs
The amount depends on how low the bridge sits, how thick the skin is and how much change suits your face. A nose that looks right from the side and still matches the forehead and chin is usually a measured change, not a maximal one. I plan conservatively and review, because adding a little later is simple, while removing too much means dissolving.

If you have had nose filler before, I need to know what, how much and when. Sometimes the remaining product is fine and we simply build on it. Sometimes it has spread or sits unevenly, and the honest plan is to dissolve it first and let the area settle. That is an extra step, and it appears as a separate line on your estimate.
What is included in a HERA nose filler estimate?
Everything needed to complete the treatment safely is listed in writing before anything begins, and international patients pay exactly what local patients pay. A typical nose plan at HERA covers:
- Consultation and profile analysis β a HERA doctor assesses bridge height, tip shape and the profile you want
- Design and marking β bridge and tip points are mapped for a straight, balanced line
- Anaesthesia β topical numbing cream, with local anaesthesia if needed
- Thread and filler placement β HA filler, plus Mint Threads when the tip is included
- Shaping and symmetry check β the line is refined and checked from every angle with you
- Aftercare guidance β what to avoid in the first days, explained before you leave
The treatment itself is usually completed within about 30 minutes. If anything would add to the plan β threads, dissolving earlier filler, or another area you have asked about β it appears as its own line so you can decide item by item.
Is a lower price worth chasing for the nose?
Comparing prices is sensible, but only when you are comparing the same plan, the same product and the same person holding the needle. The nose has blood vessels close to where filler is placed, which is why depth, amount and technique matter more here than almost anywhere else on the face. A quote is only meaningful if you know what it contains.
Before you book anywhere, ask:
- Who performs the injection β a doctor, from start to finish?
- Which product is used, and is it approved?
- Is the tip included, and if so, with threads or filler alone?
- What happens if the result needs a small adjustment?
After treatment, mild redness, swelling or tenderness at the tip for a few days is expected. Pain that keeps getting worse, skin on or around the nose turning pale, dusky or mottled, or any change in your vision is not expected: contact the clinic that same day. These problems are uncommon, and they are the reason nose filler should be done by a physician who can act immediately.
How long does nose filler last, and what does that mean for cost?
The filler component typically lasts around 6 to 12 months, varying with the product and your metabolism, so it is a treatment you maintain rather than buy once. Results vary from person to person. When you weigh the cost, think about the whole period rather than a single visit: a well-planned first session and occasional top-ups usually cost less over time than a large session followed by corrections.

"Can you give me a figure from my photo?"
A photo consultation lets us agree the likely plan β bridge, tip, threads or not β before you travel. The written estimate is confirmed once I have examined your nose in person, because skin thickness and tip support are things I need to feel, not only see.
"Can I combine the nose with other areas in one visit?"

Most people return to daily life straight away. I still suggest booking early in your stay, avoiding pressure on the nose, heavy glasses and intense heat for the first days, and leaving time for a short review before you fly.
The honest limits
Nose filler adds; it does not take away. It cannot make a nose smaller, narrow wide nostrils or remove a large hump, and it is not permanent. What it can do is raise a low bridge, soften minor irregularities and, with threads, give the tip a cleaner line β without an incision and with the option to adjust. If surgery would serve you better, I will say so in consultation rather than sell you filler.
