Tired-looking eyes are one of the most common reasons people message me before a trip to Seoul, and the question is almost always the same: "What does under eye filler cost in Korea?" I will answer it honestly, and that starts with why there is no number on this page. Under-eye filler is priced by what your eyes actually need β and sometimes the right answer is less filler than you expect, or a different treatment altogether. What I can show you is what drives the cost, what is included, and how you receive an itemised written estimate after consultation, at the same price local patients pay.
Why is there no under eye filler price on this page?
Because the same "dark circles" can have different causes, and each cause leads to a different plan. A hollow tear trough casts a shadow, and filler can brighten it. Dark circles that come mainly from pigment are a colour problem, not a volume problem, and filler alone will not fix them. Many people have a mix of both.
If I wrote a single figure here, it would describe only one of those situations. The under-eye is also the area where I most want to avoid anchoring anyone to "a full treatment" β the thinner the skin, the more a small, careful amount matters. So instead of a headline number, here is how the estimate is built.
What changes the cost of under eye filler in Korea?
The cause of your dark circles, how much product the hollow needs, which filler is used, and whether earlier filler or other areas are part of the plan.
What is causing the shadow
During consultation a HERA doctor examines skin thickness, the depth of the hollow and the cause of the darkness. If the shadow comes from a sunken groove, filler is the tool. If pigment plays a large part, the plan may add, or switch to, a different treatment β and that changes the estimate.
How much filler the hollow needs
Under-eye filler is placed in conservative amounts. The goal is a smooth lower lid, not a full one, and an overfilled under-eye looks puffy rather than rested. In practice this area usually needs less product than people assume.
Domestic or imported filler
At HERA both domestic and imported hyaluronic-acid fillers are available, and both are KFDA- and FDA-approved products chosen for this delicate area. The main practical difference is how long they tend to last, which I explain below. The product you choose is its own line on the estimate.
Earlier filler, or a second area

What does an under eye filler estimate at HERA include?
Every step needed to do this area properly is written down before anything begins, and international and local patients pay exactly the same. A typical under-eye plan covers:
- Consultation and eye analysis β skin thickness, hollow depth and the cause of your dark circles
- Design and marking β tear-trough points are mapped so the result stays smooth and even
- Anaesthesia β topical numbing cream, with local anaesthesia if needed
- Cannula injection β high-purity HA placed at the correct depth with a fine blunt-tip micro-cannula to limit bruising
- Shaping and symmetry check β the doctor molds the filler and confirms both sides look balanced
- Aftercare guidance β cold care and precautions explained before you leave
The treatment is usually completed within about 30 minutes. Anything beyond the core plan β dissolving earlier filler, a second area, or a skin treatment for pigment β is listed separately so you can decide on each item.
Why does the under-eye reward care more than a low price?
The skin beneath the eyes is the thinnest on the face, so the same product placed at the wrong depth or in too large an amount can look lumpy, uneven or slightly bluish. That is why technique β cannula, depth, amount β matters more here than the brand name on the syringe. When you compare quotes, compare what is being done, not just the total.

- Has the cause of the dark circles been assessed, or is filler assumed?
- Is there a review if one side needs a small adjustment?
Mild swelling or a small bruise for a few days is expected and easily covered with concealer. Pain that keeps getting worse, skin turning pale, dusky or mottled, or any change in your vision is not expected: contact the clinic the same day. These events are uncommon, and they are the reason this area belongs with a physician who can act at once.
How long does it last, and how should I budget over time?
Domestic fillers typically last 6 to 12 months and imported fillers 12 to 18 months, varying with the product and your metabolism. Results vary from person to person. That difference is the real trade-off between the two: one is maintained more often, the other less often. Neither is "better" for every face, and I help you choose based on your skin and how often you can return to Seoul.
For the budget, think in terms of the year rather than the visit. A small, well-placed first treatment with a review usually serves you better β and costs less over time β than a large amount placed in one session and later corrected. Plan the timing too: because the skin is thin, a small bruise can show for a few days and usually settles within about a week, so book early in your stay rather than just before an event or a flight.
Is filler the right tool for my under-eyes at all?
Not always β and saying so is part of an honest estimate. Filler treats a hollow. Crepey, thin skin under the eye may respond better to a skin-quality treatment, and some people need a combination. Under-eye filler brightens a shadow; it does not erase pigment, remove eye bags or replace surgery. It is not permanent, and in this area less really is more. What I can offer is a careful assessment of why your eyes look tired, a conservative amount placed with a cannula, and a review rather than one large session.
