Revole filler cost Korea: will the number you saw online still be the number on your bill once you're sitting in a chair in Seoul?
Before you plan a long weekend around it, give this ten minutes.
You'll know what decides the cost, what filler reviews get right and wrong, which methods change how much product you need, and what recovery looks like across a short trip. That's enough to tell which plan fits your face and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Kim Jong Seon, Director of Gangnam HERA Plastic Surgery Clinic and a board member of the International Petit Medical Society.
At HERA, locals and international patients pay the same price, and you get a written estimate before treatment. Consultations run with an English interpreter, and the specialist who consults with you is the one who treats you.
I'm writing this because many people compare per-syringe adverts, when the amount your face needs usually moves the total far more than the brand on the box.
"Revole" is usually a typo for Revolax, the name of a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. Whether it suits your area is a question for the consultation. What you'll pay for it, or for any HA filler, comes down to how much product your area needs, how many areas you treat, and how many days you have in Seoul.
If you already know the area, send one daylight photo of it on WhatsApp, front and side, with your travel dates. Ask one question with it: roughly how much filler does an area like this usually take? You can ask before booking anything.

Send us your question or a photo on WhatsApp and we will reply in English.

Is a Revolax-type filler right for what you want to change?
HA filler adds volume where it's missing or has been lost: thin lips, hollow temples, under-eye grooves, a flat nose bridge, a short chin. It doesn't tighten loose skin. That one distinction decides whether filler is the right purchase at all.
Take two searches that sit right next to this one. Filler in the cheeks to lift jowls can soften a jowl shadow in a face where the cheek has lost support. When the skin itself has dropped, adding more volume to chase a lift tends to make the face look heavy, the look people call "pillow face." At that point threads or ultrasound lifting are the better conversation, and HERA offers Custom Thread Lifting for that reason.
Filling hollow temples can also make the outer eye area look less dragged down. It won't raise a brow that has truly fallen.
My position is simple: only what is truly necessary, no overtreatment. My aim is to enhance the face you have, not to transform it. If filler is not the right tool for your concern, that is worth hearing before you spend anything.
Which methods change how much filler you need?
Three choices shape the amount. The first is depth: structural support placed deep, near the bone, usually needs a firmer gel than a fine line near the surface. The second is the tool. A blunt cannula can cover a wide area through one entry point, while a fine needle places small, precise amounts. The third is the product's firmness. Most HA filler lines come in several firmness levels, and the right one depends on the layer, not the brand.
| Area | What usually decides the amount | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Lips | Starting size and the shape you want | Lumps or overfilling at the border |
| Temples | How deep the hollow is | Contour can need more product than expected |
| Under-eye hollows | Skin thickness and shadow depth | Thin skin shows overcorrection quickly |
| Nose bridge | Height wanted and skin tension | Blood vessels in this area need care |
| Cheeks (jowl shadow) | How much support was lost | Overfilling here reads as heaviness |
If temples are your main concern, temple filler cost in Korea covers that hollow in more depth. For the cheek and jowl question, see cheek filler cost, zone by zone.
Revole filler cost Korea: what moves the number
- The amount. A deep temple hollow and a small lip refinement are very different volumes, even with the same product.
- The number of areas. Lips plus temples plus chin is three plans, not one.
- The product line. If you have a brand in mind, ask on WhatsApp whether HERA uses it for your area.
- Comfort during the injection. How this is handled is decided at the consultation, so ask what to expect for your area.
- Your days in Korea. A longer stay leaves room to look at the result before you fly; a tight trip may mean treating fewer areas.
Say you're 27, teaching English in Tokyo, flying in for four days. Your lips feel thin and your temples look a little hollow in photos. Lips usually take a small amount, and temples often take more before the change shows. With four days, I'd do one area properly and leave time to watch it settle, rather than treat both and send you home swollen. I'd also rather you come back for a small second step than leave with more than your face needs, since filler can usually be added later and I don't want to be the doctor who overtreats.
That is also where "filler face" comes from: too much product, or too many areas in one sitting, not one modest step. I add only what the face needs.
For lips, bring a picture if you like, but I look at three places first: the border, the Cupid's bow and the corners. A sharper border and a defined bow change the outline, and lifted corners soften a mouth that turns down. Our lip and lip-corner filler page covers the area, and which of the three your lips need, if any, is something I judge in person.
Forehead and temples follow the same logic: I measure the hollow first, and the amount follows from that. Our general facial filler page lists the areas we treat.
To get a figure for your own case, send a photo of the area on WhatsApp and ask what it would cost. The nasolabial fold filler cost post shows how the cause of a fold changes the plan the same way.
What do filler reviews get right, and what do they miss?
Review threads are useful for logistics and atmosphere. On the medicine, a few common claims need correcting.
"Swelling is gone the next day." Sometimes, in deeper areas. Lips often swell more and stay uneven for several days, so day-one photos are not the result.
"Lip filler gone wrong means a bad brand." Usually it comes down to the amount and where it was placed. A good product placed too superficially, or too much of it, can still look wrong.
"A lump means it failed." Small early lumps often soften as swelling settles. A firm nodule that stays may need a doctor's assessment. HA filler can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which is one reason many doctors prefer HA for first-timers.
"It lasts exactly this long." How long it lasts depends on the area, how much the area moves and your own metabolism. The American Academy of Dermatology describes filler results as temporary, so plan for maintenance rather than a one-off.
The vial, the needle and the same doctor
Two things matter more than the brand name when you're in a foreign country. First, HERA uses only genuine, approved products, and the sealed vial is opened in front of you. Second, the specialist who consults with you is the one who performs your treatment, never handed off. We don't rush through high volumes.

Recovery: same day, day three, day seven
Same day. Small injection marks, some swelling and tenderness are common. Many doctors advise skipping intense exercise, alcohol and saunas for the first day or so, and not pressing on the area.
Day three. For many people, swelling is easing. Lips can still look uneven, and a bruise may turn yellow as it fades.
Day seven. Most swelling has usually settled. This is when the shape becomes readable, and when small asymmetries are easier to judge.
Before you fly
Don't book filler for the day before your flight. Leave a few days between treatment and departure so swelling, bruising or an early problem shows up while you're still in Seoul.
Risks and side effects to know
Common, temporary reactions are swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness, which usually settle over days to a couple of weeks. Lumps can appear, and most early ones soften.
The serious one is rare. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration warns that filler injected into a blood vessel can block blood flow, which can damage skin and, rarely, affect vision. Warning signs are sudden severe pain, skin turning pale or blotchy and dusky, or any change in vision. These need urgent care, not a wait-and-see.
Lips and the skin around them have many small vessels, so after lip filler watch the lip itself, the area beside the nose and the chin. A patch that turns white or dusky, or pain that is sharper than ordinary tenderness, is a reason to call the same hour. The same signs apply near the eyes, for example after eye rejuvenation filler.
You may be advised to wait or skip filler if you have an active skin infection or cold sore at the site, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a known allergy to a filler ingredient or local anesthetic, or take blood thinners (which raise bruising). Results and recovery differ from person to person, and the final plan is made at the in-person consultation.
If something feels wrong after you fly home, message us on WhatsApp with photos and see a local doctor promptly; any vision change means emergency care. The CDC's medical tourism advice is to bring copies of your records home, so before you leave, ask for your treatment records, including the product and the amount used.
If swelling on the flight home is your biggest worry, send your return flight date and the one area you'd treat first on WhatsApp and ask how many days you should leave before flying.

Visiting HERA in Gangnam
HERA is at 4F, 9 Seocho-daero 73-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, about three minutes from Gangnam Station. We're open Monday and Friday 10:00β20:00, Tuesday to Thursday 10:00β19:00 and Saturday 10:00β17:00, with lunch from 13:00 to 14:00. We're closed Sundays and public holidays, so a Saturday arrival on a long weekend means planning around Sunday. HERA is registered with Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare to treat international patients. If this is your first filler, the first-timer's guide to fillers in Korea covers the basics.
When you're ready, send a photo of the area you want to change and the dates you'll be in Seoul on WhatsApp, and ask what it would cost for your case. One photo is enough to start. When you come in, I examine your face in person and recommend only what fits it.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Q1Is Revole the same as Revolax filler?
Revole is most often a typo for Revolax, a hyaluronic acid filler name. If you have a specific product in mind, ask on WhatsApp whether HERA uses it for your area.Q2How long does HA filler last?
It depends on the area, how much that area moves and your metabolism. Lips usually fade sooner than deeper, less mobile areas. HA filler results are temporary, so plan for maintenance.Q3Can I get filler and fly home the next day?
It's better not to. Leave a few days between treatment and your flight so swelling or bruising can settle and any early problem shows up while you're still in Seoul.Q4Can HA filler be dissolved if I don't like the result?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Your doctor decides whether and when that's appropriate after examining the area.Q5Do foreigners pay more for filler at HERA?
No. International patients pay the same price as Korean patients at HERA.
