시술한 부위의 지방이 작고 부드러워지고 윤곽이 정돈되는 것, 즉 같은 얼굴과 몸이 조금 더 또렷해지는 모습입니다. 지방분해주사는 국소 지방에 지방분해 용액을 주입해 지방세포를 분해하고, 분해된 지방은 이후 몇 주에 걸쳐 몸이 자연스럽게 배출합니다. 솔직한 사진에서는 턱 아래 곡선이 짧아지고, 턱에서 목으로 이어지는 라인이 또렷해지고, 볼이 덜 무거워 보이거나, 러브핸들이 있던 허리선이 조금 더 들어가 보이는 정도로 나타납니다.

솔직한 사진에서는 다른 얼굴, 올라간 턱살, 한 치수 줄어든 몸은 보이지 않습니다. 전후가 그만큼 극적이라면 체중, 자세, 조명, 같은 시기에 받은 다른 시술 등 무엇이 함께 바뀌었는지 물어볼 만합니다.

'후' 사진은 언제 나오나요?

당일이 아닙니다. 얼굴은 약 2~4주, 바디는 약 3~6주에 걸쳐 서서히 갸름해집니다. 이 시술의 전후 사진을 볼 때 가장 중요한 점입니다. 너무 이르게 찍은 사진은 엉뚱한 것을 보여 주기 때문입니다.

  • 시술 당일 — 시술 자체는 약 10~15분입니다. 직후에는 주사 부위의 가벼운 붓기 때문에 오히려 조금 더 부어 보일 수 있습니다.
  • 처음 며칠 — 가벼운 붓기, 붉어짐, 작은 멍이 흔하고 보통 며칠 안에 가라앉습니다. 이때 거울에 보이는 것은 아직 결과가 아닙니다.
  • 이후 몇 주 — 분해된 지방이 대사되어 배출되면서 변화가 천천히 쌓입니다. 얼굴은 보통 2~4주, 바디는 3~6주에 걸쳐 보입니다.
  • 계획한 회차 이후 — 지방분해주사는 보통 여러 회차로 진행합니다. 얼굴은 2~3회, 바디는 부위에 따라 2~4회를 권하는 경우가 많습니다. 가장 공정한 '후' 사진은 계획한 회차가 효과를 낼 시간을 충분히 가진 뒤의 사진입니다.

그래서 다음 날 아침 사진을 보여 주며 "효과가 없어요" 혹은 "바로 됐어요"라고 하시는 분께 저는 같은 말씀을 드립니다. 그 시점에 보이는 것은 대부분 붓기입니다.

부위별로 무엇이 달라지나요?

부위마다 변화가 드러나는 방식이 다르고, 얼굴과 바디는 서로 다른 시술로 계획합니다. 헤라에서는 얼굴은 속속 페이스 주사, 바디는 속속 바디 주사로 진행합니다. 용량과 주입점은 환자별·부위별로 설계하기 때문에, 현실적인 '후'는 지방이 어디에 있느냐에 달려 있습니다.

바디는 면적이 넓어서 얼굴보다 변화가 보이기까지 시간이 더 걸리는 것이 보통입니다. 바디 시술이 약해서가 아니라 정상적인 경과입니다.

누가 눈에 띄는 변화를 보고, 누가 거의 못 보나요?

가장 선명한 전후는 작고 국소적인 '진짜 지방'이 있고, 체중이 비교적 안정적이며, 피부 탄력이 어느 정도 남아 있는 분에게서 나옵니다. 이 세 가지가 맞으면 공정한 사진에서도 변화가 잘 보입니다.

실망스러운 전후는 거의 한 가지 원인에서 나옵니다. 볼륨의 원인이 주로 지방이 아니었던 경우입니다. 각진 하안면은 교근(저작근)인 경우가 많아 지방분해보다 사각턱 보톡스에 반응합니다. 그 경우의 변화는 사각턱 보톡스 전후에서 보실 수 있습니다. 두꺼운 종아리도 근육인 경우가 많아 종아리 보톡스가 따로 있습니다. 조직이 내려와 무거워진 턱살은 지방을 줄이는 것이 아니라 실리프팅 같은 리프팅이 필요합니다. 상담에서 이것을 어떻게 구분하는지는 한국 지방분해주사 병원 고르는 기준에 정리해 두었으니 여기서는 반복하지 않겠습니다. 다만 제가 무엇을 주사하느냐보다 이 판단이 전후를 더 크게 좌우합니다.

지방분해주사 전후 사진은 어떻게 읽어야 하나요?

같은 조건끼리 비교하세요. 같은 조명, 같은 각도, 같은 자세, 같은 체중, 그리고 '후' 사진을 언제 찍었는지가 중요합니다. 지방분해주사의 변화는 크기가 크지 않아서, 사진 찍는 방식의 작은 차이가 시술 자체보다 크게 보일 수 있습니다.

  • 고개 위치 — 턱을 당기면 이중턱이 생기고, 살짝 들면 사라집니다. 턱·턱선 사진은 같은 고개 위치로 찍어야 합니다.
  • 자세와 호흡 — 복부·옆구리는 바로 서거나 숨을 들이마시는 것만으로도 웬만한 시술보다 윤곽이 크게 바뀝니다.
  • 조명 — 위에서 오는 빛은 턱 아래 그림자를 깊게 하고, 정면의 평평한 빛은 그림자를 지웁니다.
  • 시점 — 처음 며칠 사이 사진은 대부분 붓기입니다. 마지막 회차 후 몇 주 뒤에 찍었는지 물어보세요.
  • 회차 — 몇 회 받았는지 물어보세요. 전체 회차 후의 결과는 1회 결과가 아닙니다.
  • 체중 — 같은 기간에 체중이 줄었다면 사진은 다이어트 효과도 함께 보여 주는 것입니다.

결과는 얼마나 유지되나요?

분해된 지방세포는 몸이 배출하기 때문에, 체중이 안정적으로 유지되면 결과도 오래갑니다. 시간이 지나면 흡수되어 다시 맞아야 하는 필러나 보톡스와 다른 점입니다. 지방분해주사는 회차를 마친 뒤 보이는 변화가 유지되는 것을 목표로 합니다.

다만 조건이 있습니다. 같은 부위와 다른 모든 부위에 남아 있는 지방세포는 체중이 늘면 다시 커질 수 있고, 그러면 '후'의 모습도 시간이 지나며 달라질 수 있습니다. 결과를 가장 잘 유지하시는 분은 비교적 안정된 체중으로 오셔서 그 체중을 유지하신 분들입니다. 한 부위의 결과가 계획보다 적다면, 무조건 회차를 늘리기보다 다음 방문 때 함께 경과를 확인합니다.

환자분들이 다음으로 묻는 것

"한 번만 맞아도 차이가 보이나요?"

작은 얼굴 부위라면 조금 보이기도 하지만, 대부분은 계획한 회차를 마쳐야 변화가 분명해집니다. 처음에 해당 부위가 몇 회 정도 필요할지와 그 이유를 말씀드립니다.

"붓기는 부작용인가요, 효과가 나는 신호인가요?"

가벼운 붓기, 붉어짐, 작은 멍은 흔하고 보통 며칠 안에 가라앉습니다. 결과 자체는 아닙니다. 무엇이 정상이고 언제 연락해야 하는지는 지방분해주사 부작용 가이드에 정리했습니다.

지방분해주사는 작은 지방 덩어리를 다듬는 시술이지, 체중을 바꾸거나 처진 피부를 당기거나 큰 부피의 지방흡입을 대신하지 못합니다. 변화는 서서히 나타나고, 보통 1회가 아니라 여러 회차가 필요하며, 결과는 사람마다 다릅니다. 빨리 반응하는 부위도, 천천히 반응하는 부위도 있습니다. 출혈, 감염, 염증 같은 합병증과 만족도 역시 개인마다 다를 수 있습니다. 제가 약속드릴 수 있는 것은 공정한 '전' 사진, 예상되는 '후'에 대한 솔직한 설명, 그리고 볼륨의 원인이 지방이 아니라면 그렇다고 분명히 말씀드리는 것입니다.

    Most often because the fullness was not mainly fat. A wide jaw from the masseter muscle, bulky calves from muscle, or heavy tissue from laxity need Botox or lifting rather than fat dissolving, which is why a doctor's assessment comes first.
